Day 2

Presentation: Landing Strong

Landing Strong is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting resilience, assisting in recovery from Operational Stress Injuries and supporting individuals transitioning out of first responder/frontline healthcare and military roles into civilian community and careers.

Experiencing trauma can lead to feelings of hopelessness, addictions, and isolation. We help you, find your way back ‘home’ again. Through our innovative group programs, we help to re-establish connection, build confidence, find community, uncover personal strengths, and reclaim your identity.

Our skilled multi-disciplinary team of innovative health care providers, and career development experts support those who have dedicated their lives to the services of others, at great personal expense.

We recognize that recovery does not happen in isolation. Peer and family engagement are necessary components of care in overcoming the effects of moral injury. The cultural transition can be daunting. You don’t have to walk it alone.
