Anita Watts

Royal Canadian Mounted Police

Presentation: Trauma Coaching: From Surviving to Thriving

Day 1 - 3:00PM - 4:00PM

Anita Watts brings professionals in high-stress positions tools to face vicarious trauma, avoid burnout, and de-escalate emotionally charged situations.

After two decades working with Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Anita now leads conversations and trainings for first responders – people whose jobs put them in stressful, traumatic, and charged situations day after day. She’s here to help us connect the dots on what we’re going through and the impact it has on our mental states, relationships, families, and personal lives.

Whether we need to talk about PTSD, suicide, resiliency strategies, crisis intervention, or witnessing other people’s trauma every day at work, Anita’s goal is to keep it real and useful, with zero B.S.
